Accessibility Statement

Emaride EU S.à r.l. is committed to making its digital offerings accessible in line with the European Accessibility Act (EAA, Directive (EU) 2019/882) and the requirements of EN 301 549 (based on WCAG 2.1, level AA). This statement describes the current state of implementation.

1. Scope

This statement applies to:

the Emaride website (landing page and public pages at www.emaride.lu),
the web dashboard for fleet partners and administrators (app.emaride.lu),
the Emaride mobile app for customers, drivers, and fleet partners (iOS and Android).

2. Conformance status

These offerings are partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 AA / EN 301 549. A full conformance statement is not currently possible — the non-accessible content and the limits of the checks carried out so far are listed in Section 3.

3. Non-accessible content

3.1 Font sizes below the minimum (WCAG 1.4.4 / 1.4.12)

28 existing locations in the web dashboard use hardcoded font sizes below the minimum size for UI text (12 px) — predominantly micro-labels and chart axis labels, not body-text roles. A fix would touch 15 files. A binding remediation date has not yet been set (open decision by the operator).

3.2 Text scaling / reflow — only partially checked (WCAG 1.4.4)

For the ten public web screens, a 200% zoom equivalent was measured (viewport narrowing 1024×768 → 512×384): no horizontal overflow found. This measurement covers only horizontal overflow — text truncation, ellipsis clipping, and text overlap at high magnification are not covered. A complete demonstration of WCAG 1.4.4 conformance is therefore not established.

For the 32 authenticated dashboard routes (fleet partner and admin area), this measurement is not technically feasible: the outer container of the dashboard shell structurally suppresses horizontal overflow before it becomes measurable. No statement on text scaling is therefore available for these 32 routes.

For the mobile app (iOS/Android), support for the system-level text size setting (dynamic font scaling) is not measured. A binding verification/remediation date has not yet been set.

3.3 Undersized interactive controls (WCAG 2.2, criterion 2.5.8)

Of 126 measured combinations of interactive control and viewport in the web dashboard, 22 fall below the minimum size of 24×24 px. A binding remediation date has not yet been set.

Binding rules and automated checks now exist for keyboard accessibility (tab order, visible focus indicator, focus trapping and return in drawers/modals), accessible names for controls without visible text (ARIA), and image alt text. These checks, however, cover only 11 of 42 web routes — the remaining 31 routes (including both settings areas) require an actual login and are currently not covered by the automated check in the development environment. No measured statement on keyboard accessibility, ARIA names, or alt text is available for these routes.

4. Preparation of this statement

This statement was prepared on 2026-08-22. It is based on a self-assessment using automated checks in the source code repository: check:contrast (color contrast and typography), the responsive/touch target audit e2e:mobile-audit, and the keyboard and ARIA guards a11y-keyboard and a11y-aria. No external review (e.g. by an independent assessment body) has taken place.
